The wildlife subjects that I photograph are many and varied.
My lifelong interest in natural history means that I regard myself to be a knowledgeable general naturalist.

When photographing the world of nature, I strive to make my images meaningful but at the same time with aesthetic appeal. My scientific background allows me to look at the information to be conveyed by the photograph but embellish this with the use of light and composition to enhance the result for the viewer.
